About me
I am a Danish-Czech audio documentary maker. For the past 20 years, I have been moving through different fields of sound. I have worked in the documentary departments of Czech and Danish public radio. In Prague, I have helped pioneer audio documentary outside traditional radio, working with independent and alternative platforms and institutions such as the Prague National Gallery, Bionaut and Deník Referendum. In Copenhagen, I have worked as a producer at Third Ear and the Danish Institute for the Blind. A lot of the time, my audio pieces evolve around questions of human existence; dealings with fear, justice, darkness, and our urge for meaning and truth. My programmes have been broadcast in Denmark and Czechia, my two home countries, as well as internationally by the BBC and ABC. Working alongside outstanding journalists, I have also produced award-winning investigative series for independent Czech news outlets. In recent years, my work has taken a new direction into research with and through sound. Working with my microphone alongside sociologists and anthropologists, I have explored how sound can add another dimension to the knowledge produced through research. In autumn 2025, I began my doctoral studies at FAMU in Prague, where I am exploring how the audio documentary genre can be expanded and pushed into new territory.
